Hi, I'm David Turner.
I build websites for businesses that measure success in phone calls and signed contracts — not likes. DET Digital is my studio, my initials, and my standard.
My full name is David Edward Turner — the D, E and T behind DET Digital. I didn't come up through an agency. I came up around service businesses: contractors, trades, and operators who were outstanding at their work and invisible online.
I kept seeing the same thing. A crew with fifteen years of flawless work would lose a bid to a competitor with a slicker homepage. A genuinely great software product would get judged by a landing page that took six seconds to load. The work was never the problem. The first impression was.
So I taught myself to fix it — design, front-end engineering, performance, SEO, analytics — and started building the opposite kind of website. Strategy first: who your customer is, what they need to see, and what action they should take. Then a site that makes that action obvious on the very first scroll.
Today DET Digital is deliberately small. I take a limited number of clients at a time so every build gets real attention, and so the person you talk to is the person actually writing the code.
